The line on the map
Drawn through the source's own ten grid references (each good to 100 m), in its order. Its summary says the walk ends at Polegate, but its last waypoint is Berwick station, which is what is drawn. Drawn on the nearest paths, the line measures about 12 km against the source's 10.2 km, so treat the source's figure as the walk's length and the line as a guide to where it goes.
The route is from Car Free Walks (walk 423, "Bishopstone to Berwick Wanderer", by lurchyboy): read it at the source before you go (created 9 August 2010, no update date shown, read 7 November 2026). The line on the map is drawn by What's On Lewes on OpenStreetMap data (ODbL), and nobody from the site has walked it yet.
