- Time

A loop from Saltdean up across Telscombe Tye, an ancient protected common in the National Park running down to the sea between Saltdean and Telscombe Cliffs, past a dew pond and Bronze Age burial mounds, down into the tucked-away village of Telscombe and its 11th or 12th-century church, and back over the Tye. Views from Brighton to Newhaven on a clear day.
The ground
'Farm tracks (rutted in places), grass paths, short tarmac sections. Bridleway gates.' Up onto the open Tye and down into Telscombe, so some climbing.
Livestock
'Do not disturb livestock and wildlife,' the page says, and the way back crosses two cattle grids.
